We use a secret family recipe to create our famous split-open pretzel, called Unique “Splits,” Our process allows the raw pretzel dough to set until it’s reached optimum potential. Then it is placed in the oven to bake where it splits open and creates incredibly crunchy crevices and bubbles. This is a pretzel you’ll have to taste for yourself!
In addition to Original “Splits,” we bake them in Multi-Grain, Extra Dark, Extra Salt and Unsalted varieties. Multi-Grain “Splits” have a delicious deep 7-grain flavor, and Extra Dark “Splits” get their nicely burned exteriors from our baking process instead of adding the flavor with malts or sugars like others do.
Unique Pretzel Shells are another variation of a “Unique” pretzel. We use our split-open baking process to remove the inside of the pretzel and create bite-size hollow pockets. What’s left is the crunchy, tasty outside pretzel shell with all of the crunch and no filling.

Unique Pretzel has cornered the market with a new style of pretzel. We utilize organic sprouted 100% whole grain flour milled by Essential Eating Sprouted Foods. The whole grains are rinsed, dried, sifted and milled to create a flour that is incomparable. Most sprouted wheat is turned into a mash or paste which can be bitter and unappetizing. Not so with this newly created sprouted whole grain flour.
Sprouted grains offer a higher level of digestibility than those having gone through the refinement processes. They maintain their nutritional integrity and can be digested as vegetables instead of starches. The body recognizes them as simple sugars that can be burned for energy rather than storing them as fat.
