Recipe – 6 Layer Taco Dip

July is a great time of year for fresh tastes and snacks to share. Why not put the two together with this delicious 6-layer dip? It’s a big hit at outdoor parties with a bowl of pretzels for dipping!



1 bag Unique Shells pretzels

1 ½ cups refried beans

1 ¾ cups guacamole

1 ½ cups sour cream

2 tomatoes

8oz. shredded cheddar cheese


Heat refried beans in a microwave-safe bowl in a microwave oven until hot, stirring frequently. Spread beans onto the bottom of a (preferably clear) bowl. Allow beans to cool down for about 10 minutes. Cover refried beans with complete Unique Shells and pieces, then coat the pretzel layer with guacamole. Spread sour cream layer on top, cover with shredded cheese, then tomatoes, and lastly decorate with a few final Shells. Refrigerate until chilled, serve to friends, and dig in!
